This is a 1973 Plymouth Fury III with the original 360 V8. I am the 2nd and 4th owner of it, so Ive had it a total of about 8 years. It has actually been across the country 5 times with me in all sort of weather with absolutely no breakdowns. Ive put many new parts in it throughout the years including a transmission and 4-bbl carbohydrate. I changed the camshaft and timing chain when I went to a 4 bbl (at about 90,000 mi). Presently the automobile has dual side-exit exhaust pipelines with 8" glasspacks. It is very loud. I set it up by doing this because we used it as the team car in 2013 for the world land speed record holder 52 Buick of Rocket Heads Racing. Go huge or go home! The Fury runs and drives and rolls out smoothly like the land yacht it is. Although I don't drive it much now, it is a motorist vehicle and has been its whole life. There are dings and dents, rust, the original paint is flaking off, seat splits, you know. Its 41 years of ages and the 3rd owner who drove it every day had a household with a lot of kids. Ive completely took pleasure in possessing this car (a lot that I bought it back from the 3rd owner) however Ive got other tasks stacking up and this one isn't really getting the love it needs. The last photo reveals what it looked like before I offered it the very first time and how it can look once again with a little work. It would also make an excellent police wagon clone. The center console on the floor is not included. The problems right now are a sticky right front brake caliper (I have a replacement caliper and pads, chooses the vehicle), and there is a coolant leak that Im rather sure is coming from a freeze plug at the back of the engine. That would require separating the engine and trans which is a huge job. A regional shop has actually estimated me about $350 to do it, nearly all which is labor. I cant see any problems driving it much shorter distances, however I would highly recommend getting that coolant leakage fixed if youre going to take it cross country. That one is not an easy fix on the side of the roadway. When braking, the bad brake caliper is not stuck on however it does draw hard. Im made use of to it and Ive driven even worse. Tires are okay and don't leak however they are old. Ive put about 5,000 mi on them including at over 100mph and they were great. The car is readily available to take a look at by appointment in Utah, about 1.5 hrs north of Salt Lake City. Send me a message with your phone # and I will certainly call you. Im not going to ship it but I will certainly deal with your shipping company. Any concerns about the automobile Id be pleased to respond to on right here. Thanks!
